The designer-info.com site is designed to provide high-quality information for designers to help them choose the best software and to make the most of it.
The content is largely based on my writing over the last 10 years or so for PC Pro - the UK's biggest-selling computer monthly - where I am a contributing editor covering all areas of design.
With the recent redesign and shift to a Drupal-based CMS system I plan to add content more regularly including news items. Basically I want to provide a central place to enable designers to keep on top of their software without being drowned in low-quality noise.
In the near future I plan to enable others to contribute high-quality content to the site.
Tom Arah is the webmaster of designer-info.com. He has been a professional designer working with computer software since 1987. He also offers training and consultancy and since 1997 has been the contributing editor covering design issues for PC Pro, the UK's biggest-selling (and best) computer monthly.
